Hi,

Well we left kharkov yesterday after a wonderful week of ministry. we said goodbye to the youth group at New Hope Church with much sadness and tears(mostly by the girls) and some babushka dolls to rememember them by. last night was a evening i will never forget. for starters I ate mcdonalds for the 17 time, which is always enjoyable. we walked around kiev seeing the church of st. sophia, and shopping in the market. then the real fun began!! we got our faces painted with the ukrainian flag, and proceeded to walk down the main street of kiew whoopin' and hollerin' "u-kry-ee-na"!!!! all the locals laughed and cheered with us, which was amazing because it was the first time any local had smiled. we then paraded our way to the main square where we picked our front row seats to the jumbotron. We quickly made friends with all those around us because we were the only ones patriotic enough to dress in ukrainian football colors. at 10:00 the game began along with all of the fun!! the square was filled with 80,000 drunk screaming ukrainians.... (oh shoot our plane is here and we have to go will will shhare more latter... we are all safe and headed to london) bye
